Largest association of tax consultants formed

The College Belastingadviseurs (CB) and the Nederlandse Federatie van Belastingadviseurs (NFB) have since 1 January 2011 combined and will continue together as the new association Register Belastingadviseurs (RB). On 31 December 2010 Sylvester Schenk (chairman) and Ron van Brugge (vice-chairman) signed the merger deed.
Voting
The members voted overwhelmingly in favour of the merger in November 2010. The approval is a logical consequence from the successful cooperation between the two organizations since June 2008. The result of joining forces is a professional organization of more than 7200 members. The Board of the RB comprises of an equal number of former CB and NFB Board members.
Better Partner
“As the largest professional association of tax consultants the RB can become a better go-between for politics and government. We note, given the continuing growth in membership and the increasing interest from the media that the RB is seen as a major player”, said chairman Sylvester Schenk.
